Personal Narrative: My First Experience With A Physical Therapist

My first experience with a physical therapist was when I was in sixth grade. I had torn my right hamstring in a cross country practice, I remember the coach helping me hobble back to the parking lot and telling my mom that I needed to go to the doctor. After we went to a sports doctor where they diagnosed my injury as a torn hamstring, I went to physical therapy for the following two months and missed the rest of the cross country season much to my dismay. The second time I went to a physical therapist was after I had deep vein thrombosis (DVT), and a pulmonary embolism in the Autumn of 2015.
