It all started one beautiful August morning, the birds were chirping and the sun was shining. Today was going to be a wild day, it was my first day of middle school! My mom dropped me off at the front doors of the school, and said, “Bye Josh have a wonderful first day of middle school, I love you”. I said back, “I love you too”, and begin walking through the front doors.

I finally found my bus, and got on, the bus was hotter than the Sahara desert. When I found a seat, I sat down next to some of the kids I meant earlier in the day. When the bus was finally leaving the bus driver said, “ I only have two rules, treat other like you would want to be treated, and keep your feet out of the aisle”.
The bus ride felt like forever, but it was interesting. At the end of my ride an 8th grader came up to me, and told me what I need to know about middle school. What he told me really changed my point of view on middle school. He explained the good teachers and the more strict teachers. Last but not least, he explained that, 6th grade is good but, 7th and 8th grade is so much better and how much he has changed throughout his years at the school. I thought myself, “Wow this kid is like the Buddha to me”.
When he got off the bus I turned out being the next stop, I got off the bus, and started my walk home. In conclusion that day wasn't nearly as bad as I expected. I guess the book, “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” made me think that my first day was going to be frightening and terrible, but really my first day was amazing, I made a ton of new friends and I wasn't scared, or nervous at
