At first I was okay with the thought of the program but once they told us we wouldn't be able to be in electives and be excluded from some things the regular eighth grade classes were doing because of how immature some of the classmates were. I understood where the teachers were coming from the more that the class had a conversation about it, everyone in the class started to realize that they were right and did need to mature and the teachers ended up deciding to allow us to do more of the things other classes were doing. I myself did also mature and that led to me realizing that all the teachers wanted was for us to succeed and be able to pass our classes. …show more content…
The more I would actually sit down and talk with them I became closer and closer and had better relationships with them. At the time that I had my iLead teachers I didn't really have such a good relationship with my family and my teachers helped change that, to this day I'm very thankful for everything they did for
