Personal Narrative: My First Date Eating

We met almost 5 years ago, and it didn't take me long to realize you were something special. It caught me by surprise when you first came over to my house. I didn't even know you were coming over and I was so under dressed that I kicked you out and asked you come back later so I could shower and put effort into my appearance. Not to mention a few days later on our first date eating the slowest I ever have because I was hanging on to every word you spoke, and was stunned that I was actually on a date with someone so beautiful. It wasn't always easy, in the beginning the odds were stacked against us, dating for 2 months before starting a 2 year long distance relationship.
