It was my first Cubs game. I had to wait outside the gates for about a hour just because I wanted to see everything. That included a concert, some Cubs merchandise shopping, and batting practice. I wanted the full experience of wrigley field and wanted to do it with the best fans in all professional sports. The first stop was the store with Cubs merchandise in it.
When you walk in you can smell that new clothes smell which is almost an absence of smell. We looked around got a few things my favorite was the Cubs win flag. I was anticipating I would get

Then they announced Kyle Schwarber and you would think that the people on the other side of the world could hear it. It was now the 3rd inning it was time to go get food.
It was hard to pick on what I wanted to eat you could just walk by each station and could smell the delicious fried stuff. Also popcorn that was the strongest you could smell that everywhere. I went with super nachos they had onions , cheese, peppers, olives, and sour cream on them the lines though went on forever when I got back to my seat it was 5th inning. I sat an enjoyed the rest of the stressful game.
In the end the cubs lost and it was disappointing but it was till a blast since then I have gone to a few and hope to continue to go to at least 1 every year. Who knows maybe it can be the start to a year where they go all the

The White Sox of 1919 are considered to be one of the only teams to successfully fix the World Series because they had a set plan to do it. The 1919 white sox were able to fix the world series because they only let a select few know about the plan, they had other people put the bets for the players so they wouldn’t be seen, and they had people put bets on against them so they could make the most amount of profit as possible. The reason why players from the team decided to go along with fixing the game was because of their commissioner Charles Comiskey, he never paid the players on the team what they truly deserved. He was so cheap to his team he wouldn’t pay for their uniforms to be cleaned which is where the name “The Black Sox” comes from.…

The Texas Rangers (2-1) fall to the Toronto Blue Jays (1-2) by a final score of 5-1 in Arlington Texas. The Rangers bats were silenced for most of the night, and the Blue Jays looked like a team that didn’t want their season to end tonight. However, the Reds ended up winning the first game of the series with a score of 9 to 1. Everyone was shocked about how badly the White Sox had played that day. Cicotte’s level of play was not what it usually was.…
