Personal Narrative: My First Cross Place

Yesterday I had a cross country meet and it was in Waverly. It was a Junior High and High school meet. We had to only run one mile, but in a regular meet we will have to run two miles. Decorah had half of the kids in the meet and that was like 60 kids! While I was running the wind was so bad that my mouth dried up instantly. When I was at the half way someone came around the corner and pushed me for no reason and that made me really mad. At the end of the race I got 19th place and with a time of 5:58. My twin brother got 20th place with the same time even though I came in a few seconds before him. This was the story of my first cross country
