Standing just off the court ready to take it over as my heart was pumping just a little faster than normal. “We got this,” stated Austin with a strong loud voice. “Key words to winning this game, said Coach, get running, play as a team, and be loud. Still waiting to access the court we were all like wild animals. As we ran onto the court and started with lay ups, then we get into 3 on 2.
“Bleep” the horn rang, “It’s game time and I’m warm because I’m already sweating!” The ball is tipped and we have it Trey goes up the court passes to Austin and he lays it in for 2. South Winn missed their first shot so we went running Trey passed me the ball behind the ark and I shot it and it was an ugly shot and I banked it in for 3. I was trying to realize what I could have done if I would have passed it

I could barely breath, my mouth was so dry. Everyone was excited, but I was nervous, we believed in each other.
There was five seconds left and coach called a timeout to talk over the game plan and what we're going do. We were all lined up on half court, except for the one that passes the ball in, Mike’s passing the ball in and Austin and Mccoy are suppose to run towards him, so Trey and I run the opposite way towards our basket, hoping to get a shot off, and Mike threw a perfect pass to Trey at the ten foot line for volleyball in the corner of it and he threw it up and I was under the basket ready to rebound it and I called bank so I would know where it was and to tell everyone behind me. Then it banked in for 3 and we won 32-29 so we stormed the court then we realized that there was still time left in the game so we defended them and won. Then we stormed the court and made a pile and yelled Trey!!!
The lesson I learned is that it takes a team to win a game and we showed it then and in later games in the season. I love basketball so much and am glad that our team made that game and the season so special for all of

I easily caught the ball with my hand and put it on the ground where I backhanded it at the net. The shot went right past the two diving defenders and over Jason's 4 foot 3-inch body into the top right corner. The other team was in shock at how good I was, they knew I was good, but they did not know that I was this good. They did not know that I was quite possibly the best hockey player to ever walk the face of the Earth, they didn't realize that I could single-handedly destroy all of them like the Boston Bruins coming back in game 7 of the playoffs against Toronto.…

It was a normal day around 10:00 A.M. when I had the first soccer game of the season. The air was cool with crisp morning dew across the grass. We were going against the C.S.L Stingrays (Chesapeake Soccer League). It was different now, instead of 7 players on the field it was 11 players, instead of a smaller field it was bigger, along with the field, the goals were also larger. With this much people and this big of a field, you couldn’t dribble a ball all the way down and score.…

What basketball means to me is family, friends and heritage. Everything so basketball kind of means a lot to me. Although the point of the game is to have fun, I know a lot of times when I wanted to win. One time I was at a rez ball tournament in Reno and my team had already lost one game and we weren’t planning on going home early, so we tried so hard to get up, and we did only one point down and 3 minutes to go. We brought the ball up the court passed it around and got a shot up.…

It was a hot, humid day in September out on the courts that day. Standing there, poised and ready on the green asphalt, I sprang into action, like a cobra ready to strike, nearly tripping over my foot, and execute a nearly perfect slicing forehand swing of my racket, returning the bright green tennis ball to the far right-hand corner of the court. It happened so fast that my opponent, who was sweating just as much as myself, wasn't able to process that I earned the winning point after a long, drawn-out match. I couldn't believe I just won my first tennis match. “I knew you were gonna be good at this Brianna!” shouts Coach Womack as he gave me an exuberant high-five.…
