My first clinical was at Gateway’s Ortho Medical Unit, which handles both bone issues and medical issues such as infection. The unit was almost empty, which meant I only viewed three patients. My nurse only took vitals for two patients because they were sleeping, which left it up to the third patient to bring excitement to my clinical, which they did.

The patients primary representative literally pulled the pregnant nurse out to the hallway to yell at her about the briefing she had given the family.
