When people would ask why she chose the career field she is in, she would always respond with a smile, “I’m an adrenaline junkie, and this gives me a fix like no other.” People often wonder what inspires people like her to do what they do for people they don't know, and it all comes back down to something as simple and being the light in the dark, the calm in the storm, and hope amongst the chaos. She begins getting ready just like she would if she were going to work on the ambulance today; pen light, two pens, a small blue memo notebook, stethoscope, ID badge, medical tape, and determination to be a better student than she was yesterday. She walks out of the door and heads to her car with drive and determination for today to be a good one. She gives herself the pep talk to boost herself up, as the nerves begin to set in when she realizes she is officially practicing as a paramedic student. I am employed in the healthcare field as an anesthesia technician and it is very demanding and stressful position Having to deal with doctors, nurses, and relatives taught me a valuable lesson in staying composed, immune from the verbal abuses from some patient’ s relatives and constant orders from physicians whose patience is lacking. Although it is a very hard thing to follow through with, I think it became a staple in my life even it was challenged about a year and a half ago. On a dark and serene night where the stars were dancing in the sky, the moon gracing the earth with it its radiance, and the night creatures singing, the dogs barking as if to tell…

After we were done with her morning medication, I went to one of her patient whom I was assign to by Mrs. Natasha to perform mini mental survey and general assessment on the patients.…
