Personal Narrative: My First Class At Duff Elementary

My first grade class at Duff Elementary consists of nine boys and eight girls. The desks are organized in three groups; a horizontal row, and two small horizontal rows facing each other. The way the desks are organized allows the teacher to see the whole classroom without any complications. The teacher has two baskets which contains sharpened and unsharpened pencils. When a student needs a new pencil they switch out their old pencil for a new pencil. In addition, the students’ lunch bags are located in front of the classroom in a recycle bin. Each student owns a binder in which they keep their daily work, homework, reading log, and planner in separate colored folders. After a student has completed and received a stamp or check on their worksheet,
