Donovan had to balance life between being a student leader, a popular guy, and having a social life. He managed to do so with the guidance of his teachers. His record was stellar. I was always at the top. At some point though, He was caught in some drugs stuff, and had got suspended for two weeks. Donovan parents were disappointed. At this point, his grades had dropped. He had to take that time to reflect on his life. Around that time, there were these men from a local industrial plant that came to mentor some guys from church. I was going to live on my own for the very first time. My dad gave me his old car, and I lived in a one roomed apartment next to the car sales agency where my dad worked. Living alone meant that I made my decisions on what to eat and wear, when to come home and where I went. I was my responsibility. I did minor jobs to support myself. At first, I wasted all my income in parties and on friends. I went hungry on two occasions to learn how to make a budget. I am now wiser with money.
