Personal Narrative: My First Car

Decent Essays
My first car was a red Acura RSX, 2002. I loved this car, and would always try to keep it as clean as possible. I had this car for about two years. On the summer of 2014, I stopped cleaning it the way I used to and was also not really into it anymore. It had been two years and I wanted a new car. It was a Saturday at the end of July, my dad had asked to go run some errands for him. It was raining and dark out. I had trash, drinks and bottles all over in my car, something I never had before.

I was driving back home, I had the music very low. I was driving through a green light and out of no where, I turn to my left side and I see a van coming my way. After, I remember seeing all around my car and things falling and breaking apart. I got really scared, I was not sure of what just had happened and all I could think of was my parents and sister. Everything happen so fast that after that I am not sure if I passed out, because I ended up on the left side of my car, in the floor all wet and without shoes. Something I was not sure of how I ended up there.

All air bags had come out. My front and passenger side windows were broken. The passenger door was broken in pieces. My things were all over the street either broken or wet. After everything that had happen I felt this big gap of air in my stomach and I started to cry. I called my dad right away and he got there and took me home, I felt no pain at all even though I was just in a bad car crash. They told me it was because I was still in shock and that was the reason I did not feel any pain. I did not want to go to the hospital, but my boyfriend made go just so we could make sure there was nothing broken. Surprisingly, all I had was a really small scratch in my foot. Something that in my opinion is a miracle, because my car was complete broken and there was broken glass all over it where I ended

On a beautiful clear morning of February the 19th, my mom picked me up from my class at the University of West Georgia, then we went to Waffle House to have a nice breakfast. We left from Waffle House, proceeding down Maple Street, and turned onto South Street and immediately onto Kenner Street. We then turned onto on the merging lane on South Park Street (US Hwy 27) heading south, we immediately halted to a full stop as vehicles moved from the middle lane into the merging lane in front of us, but at that time there were no vehicles behind us. As we waited to enter traffic, a car suddenly struck us from behind which caused the car to jerk violently forward, causing my mother’s chest to hit the steering wheel, and our heads and bodies to whip forward and then back.…

I'm going to tell you about the time I totaled my first truck. It was not a fun experience all the questions and talking to the cops it was not fun. Anyways how it happens is pretty simple I was just driving home from work all is well. Until I see a massive muddy area on the road ahead and knowing my luck it just happens to go right onto a bridge that goes over a creek. I was driving a 1999 Ford F150 extended cab four wheel drive.…

I could feel the traumatizing beat of my heart pounding the back of my head, the ringing inside my ears seemed to ward out any sound that my ears seemed to pick up on any other normal day. When I ride it's like the earth stops at every corner so I can check to make sure a, loud, car isn't roaring towards me. It's like that feeling in your chest that tells you that everything is going to be ok, yet your mind is screaming at you that it won't be. I ride because I was thought that you need to be active in life, but it was never about the one hour of activity time we are supposed to have growing up. it was much more than that. I didn't need help to ride, I needed help to face down my enemies, or conquer my dreams.…

Disbelieve and fear shook my mind as I lie on my back, sitting on top of concrete sandwiched in between the hot metal hood of a car, as the weight pressed down against me it didn’t hurt, my body was too numb to feel anything. All I could feel was a car pushing me further into the ground pushing my lungs down and shutting air out of it. It felt too surreal I kept blinking as if I thought I’d wake up from this mess. I could see sirens and people gathering around me watching in disbelieve, I kept fading in and out of conscience I felt like I was close to death.…

My first car was something that I greatly was looking forward to getting as a child and my interest in getting one grew, as the days got closer to my sixteenth birthday. The first car I owned was a Automatic Black 2004 Ford f-150 truck, which I discovered on a website called Craigslist. It was priced at five thousand nine hundred dollars with only eighty-four thousand miles on it, which in my case was great considering that I could only afford a seven thousand dollar car. The truck came with all manual locks and windows and also had a small amount of hail damage that could really only be seen at a certain angle. But even with reasonable price on the truck I still attempted to negotiate for an even lower price to further my luck.…
