Personal Narrative: My First Car

The last large item that I bought was a car. Looking for your first car isn’t the easiest thing to do anymore in today’s world most of the cars that you find know are either completely worn out or trashed. It took weeks and a lot of searching to actually find a car that I was comfortable buying. You want to look for while and not just impulse buy a car because of its name because the car itself could be a total wreck. I would look online to find people that are selling cars that I was interested in. I would compare the cars by the pictures that they had and by the price that was listed. When I had narrowed it to the last couple cars that I liked it came to the price of the car. I was trying to use some spending strategies called optimizing and economizing in the end I think it worked out because I managed to get a nice car for a reasonable price. …show more content…
I looked for days comparing the prices of the cars, features they had, and the quality of it itself. I wasn’t trying to rush this because in the end I was going to spend most of the money that I saved up from working. I took my time and decided on three cars that I was interested in. The only thing I wanted to do then was go look at them and takes them for a drive to make sure it was in working order. After driving and looking at the cars, that is when I finally decided that I wanted to buy a 2009 Jeep Wrangler. Don’t just settle on the first car you like make sure you take the time to look around and make a decision
