I bolted to the wing. Nabil had just caught the rebound. He took charge of the point. Trying to showcase his “great” dribbling, he got the basketball knocked out of his hands. The defender jumped for the ball. I snatched it away just an inch from his palms. Although, I saw Alex ready for my pass, Grant’s voice stopped me; he was wide open for a three. I saw Alex’s anger build up as his face reddened. Coach, seeing the trouble, called a timeout, somehow calming Alex down. By halftime of the first game of the league’s season, Alex was back to his angry state, acting aggressively on court and fouling out. Brian, a slightly shorter but still hulking player, took over as center. During the 10 minute halftime break, Alex was …show more content…
Marcus has been helping his mom at home to save his dad some trouble, but he’s coming to watch Coach Carter with us,” coach told us. I didn’t like feeling wrong about a teammate again but I was glad that Marcus was actually caring rather than selfish. We settled in at coach’s house to watch the movie to Coach Carter soon after the game. As the season dragged into 2013, we ended up winning some and losing some. Marcus seemed like a blessing on the days that he did come. He just seemed to always part the throng of opponents in the post as he dunked

The Red Devils winger skipped the ball to the outside of the eighteen yard box and cocked his leg back at his knee and whipped a insanely hard shot off his laces. The goalie had his mouth open, and when the ball was hit he immediately shut his mouth and shuffled twice to his left and extended his legs so he could reach the…
