I met my dance teacher, she was nice, her name was Janet. Then after meeting my dance teacher I actually made a friend on the first day of dance class. The girl’s name was Kayln, she said she loved to dance just like me dancing really helped me to relax. I wanted to give up but I didn’t give up, I really wanted to be a dancer/ singer.
Dance put me in another world. A world of my own to do what I wanted to. I was only in dance class for six years, but I had to stop because my feet started to hurt really badly. So after practice

When I was younger and I couldn’t dance anymore because of my feet I still went to all the dance practices to support and help my cousin with what she needed help with.
I still love to dance but sometimes my feet hurt when I start dancing for a little bit. Really I don’t have much dancing experience my brother has some of the dancing experience but I still have a lot of rhythm in my body and my feet.
I’m still kind of sad for not finishing my dance classes, I just can’t stop remembering where my first dance performance was; my first performance was in Moberly it was at the Auditorium. The building was very tall in the inside it was really big and the stage we were performing on was huge and long, The song we danced to was “Bad Boys”, we had great dance costumes we got to wear police outfits. Growing up in an artistic household, there had never been a time that dance was not present in my life. At an early age, I was exposed to the arts and show business and nothing intrigued me more. I would spend countless hours backstage of my mother’s performances, frolicking in her makeup and playing make-believe. I fell in love with everything the theater had to offer and eventually it became my second home. As I grew older, and my motor skills emerged, nothing and no one could restrain me from dancing to the imaginary rhythms that flowed through my body.…

As stated before in our first lecture, dance is a living and fleeting art form. I believe that dance is a living art form because it is a three-dimensional picture to art. What I mean by this is that, art is normally seen on walls or as sculptures, but dance is an amazing opportunity to view art while in movement. If you are anything like me, when I look at a painting of two people or many, I always wonder what it would be like to see them actually dancing, singing, or even laughing. By watching dance, it is my living art form.…

I found it showed my talents, where it seemed like I had not any other place. It seemed to become close to the point of an obsession, as I would lose myself in the rhythm of the music. All the hours put in dance were not in vain, however; rather, for every minute put in, became twice as good as before. My dance instructor noticed my talent and I was offered to be a part of the prestigious performance team. My First Dance Competition The first time I performed at a dance competition was a very exciting and memorable moment for me. I was six years old and insanely nervous. Typically the nerves hit me while I wait in the wing of the stage for my name to be called, but this time it began the moment I woke up in the morning. I remember having to wake up at about six in the morning in order to have time to get ready and be at the convention center in Wichita when the doors opened at 7:30 a.m.…
