High school is coming to an end, and students need to start looking for colleges to acquire a further education. I discovered Waynesburg University during a field trip to Pittsburgh where a college convention was being held. Since I am interested in the law enforcement field, my friend suggested that I should check out Waynesburg University’s station. At Cornerstone Ministries, I do food preparation to put together food for the less fortunate people that can not afford to feed their families. Our church also offers car repair services that I have participated in. We provide used cars, fixes to engines, brakes, and oil problems to those who can not afford to pay someone to fix it. Outside of school, I have done martial arts since the summer of 2016. We practice forms of martial arts such as Muay Thai, Kung Fu, and my favorite, Brazilian Ju-Jitsu. I chose to do MMA over a sport at school because it would prepare me better for serving law enforcement or the military. I am excited that Waynesburg has a wrestling team that I could possibly participate in. After each of my MMA classes, we wrestle to build up our stamina and strength.
Since grown up life is quickly coming up, I need to make good decisions for myself. I feel that studying criminal justice at Waynesburg University will prepare me best for my career after school. Since Waynesburg University is a small school, I think it would fit me well since I am coming from a small school district. I am pleased that Waynesburg has qualities of a school that I want and is close enough to

I would first like to thank Frostburg State University for accepting me in their institution and giving me the chance to further my education after my high school scholar years. I have enjoyed my time at Frostburg State University and with hard work I have been able to make the dean’s list and be accepted in the Honors program during the first semester of my freshman year. I hope to continue to work even harder during the second semester and throughout my school career. As a small university, Frostburg has enabled me to benefit from many things, such as the small size classes. Now that I have gotten used to college and life on campus, I believe it is time to continue to push myself to work harder and to attend an institution where I could be academically challenged and can be surrounded by many people who share my profession.…

The Law and Public Service Program is directed to students with interests in history, politics, government, and law. Students have to demonstrate abilities like leadership, compassion, respect, and pride. I am intrigued about learning in this program and believe that I could be a good model and representation of what a student learning in the Law and Public Service program should be. Being a leader is not always directing people in the right direction, leaders have to have enthusiasm and be helpful. During my experience in Eisenhower Middle School, I have participated in school sports like soccer and cheerleading.…
