The biggest obstacle I have had to face in my lifetime would be dealing with my dad stroke. In January 2008, my dad had a stroke paralyzing him form neck down. He unable to speak, walk or do anything on his own. I was 13 years old when this happened, so about nine years ago, it’s extremely hard for me to talk about this, although it happened almost a decade. I still get very emotion talking about it. My dad lives in a group home in Hopkins. I am his gradian and power of attorney. I visit him at least twice a week or more. My dad is everything to me, he came to American in 1998 worked 3 jobs to bring me my brother and mom to the U.S. There noting he wouldn’t do for us.
