It’s a program where you are basically in boot camp for a week, doing physical training, changing in and out of uniform, and of course, constant yelling. I had done this program in the past and was mediocre at it, never won any awards. But this year was my third year going, and that meant I got to be a flight commander. I got to teach all the new guys about leadership, while giving them “positive reinforcement”. When I arrived a day earlier than all the other cadets for my training on how to interact with the freshmen and sophomores, I learned there was going to be a drill completion in the middle of the week.
