During the first session at first I did not know how to interact with the children; but I decided to approach a little girl who seemed to have difficulties completing a puzzle. I helped her complete the puzzle; by asking her where did she think each piece went. When the second session came I kind hate to admit it, but I was exhausted. I tired keeping up with the children; I was successful in some way. Although I did not interact as much physically with the children. I mostly sat down and read a story or drew with them; but nothing like chasing after them. For most of the afternoon I drew with these two sweet little girls. To be honest I felt unfair for not interacting as much with the second session children. But I felt that I did the best I could have done, after one of the little girls mentioned to me with a big beautiful smile, “I like playing with you. You are really fun and cool.” That little girl’s comment made my day. For children like that little girl is the reason why I want to become a pediatrician. Not for the great salary, but for the priceless smiles of children they have; when they feel healthy and most importantly happy. I would have not changed anything and especially do not regret going.
