Ms. Corey gave me flashcards with words on them. I took the cards home so my dad could help me. This time, he made it into a game my mom vs me. The winner would get some delicious vanilla ice-cream. After we finished the ice cream, my mom and I knew how to pronounce all the words in the that stack. Ms. Corey was surprised by the rate I was learning, so she gave me a book to read.
