Personal Narrative: My Experience Of Doing Community Services With LTW Staff

Doing community services with LTW staffs is profoundly enjoyable and meaningful. Serving in Harlem food bank impacted me the most. That not only a fun experience, when I learned to say “chicken” “ham” and “fish” in Spanish, but also an experience of mutual respect between people, when I kept smiling, greeting while other people smiling and greeting at me. I learned something that I could never get from classroom there, which was people’s inherent kindness.
