The best way to start this brief summary of my experience in the Helms School of Government would to go back to freshmen year. I went into college wanting to be a double major in Zoology and Zoo and Wildlife Biology. That was something I had thought I wanted to do and thought God wanted me to do. Although my mother, knowing me and knowing my favorite classes in high school were always Government or History classes, told me to take Government 200. Well, after the first semester I took both Government 200 and Biology 101. To say the least, Biology was not for me and I fell in love with Government. I learned so much in that first semester with Dr. Ferdon, not only involving Government and Principles of the Constitution, but how to live my life
