My sister and I were at a dune party. A dune party that takes place on an old scorch pier.My sister was 16 and I was 18. One night someone brought a small pistol to the party. The pistol was handed around from person to person. Even me, until all of a sudden I heard the gun go off and saw my sister Casey fall into the water. The cops came and everybody ran. I was paralyzed. The cops took me to the police station while they searched for my sister. While I was at the police station I went into the back room where I could hear people giving their side of the story. From that whole night in the police station all I found out was that the person who owned the gun was Stacy, who was pregnant with apparently my sister's boyfriend but he denies it. I ran out of the police station to the beach to try and find Casey or Stacy. I went up to the pier and there Stacy was she had night vision goggles on, that she got from the museum. I sat right down next to her and that's when she told the true story of what happened. Casey's boyfriend, Mark Stern was Stacey's ex-boyfriend and she said that she saw Mark pointing her gun at Casey. Casey saw him pointing the gun at her and dove into the water. Stacy said both of them were wearing the same big white sweatshirt, and that Mark thought Casey was her. I took the night vision goggles away from Stacy and looked in the ocean and i saw something that looked like a human on a surfboard. I quickly ran to the brackets to climb down. Before I left I told Stacy, "Don't you dare jump". I ran to the beach where two cops were already there and it was Casey. Casey's back was all torn up from the coral that was underneath the pier, but otherwise she was fine. Then the shot rang out loud, it told Stacy didn't jump but she did what I didn't think she would do. I became good friends with Stacy's dad and her half brothers after Stacy's
