I was a teacher assistant for my high school’s Math Lab. Math Lab is a study session designed to help Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and Geometry students with their math assignments. As a teacher assistant, I answered students’ questions and explained concepts that they found difficult. I also performed various tasks such as taking attendance, grading, and organizing whenever requested to do so by the teacher. This particular opportunity is important to me because it has an emphasis on Mathematics, my preferred area of study.
