Personal Narrative: My Environment

Improved Essays
My environment can be decided in many ways, from my neighborhood, to my family and how I was raised. I love my environment it has taught me many things and has showed how a community can come together and help.
My neighborhood isn’t decided as a “normal neighborhood “. In my neighborhood, we talk among each other. We are decided as friendly to each other. It may be small but we still look out for each other, for example when one goes out of town we will ask the neighbor to look out for the house to make sure no one is trying to break in or anything as we will do for them as well. We are also there to support each other when there is a passing on our street. Which I really admire because it shows me that you always must be there for the people

My experience with the after school book club at Madison Elementary today was an exciting yet my patience was tested by a seven year old little boy named Jose. Today I was excited to see if my group would enjoy the book, “Where the Wild Things Are,” due to the fact everyone agreed they enjoy reading adventure books. Consequently, one of my group members, Jose, had already read the book and watched the movie and let the whole group know it was “boring.” Already bored he instantly lost interest in the book and the group and was making it known by distracting the other group members around him. Usually his partner in crime, Gilbert, agrees with him and goes along with him but this time was different and he ignored his friend because he was actually…

The people of the society each look to a higher power and have hope in something past this life, thus making their happiness and kindness immeasurable; the government has found the perfect balance of control, and the education is highly valued, encouraged, and free.…
