Personal Narrative: My Emergence Of My Football Career

At the Emergence of my football career, which started in middle school I was habitually told that I was good. I was always one of the biggest and strongest kid usually so going into my freshman year of high school I decided that I was going to try out for the junior varsity team and so did most of my friends. I remember the first day of tryouts I looked around me and even though I was a pretty big for a freshman, but everybody seemed colossal as well and strong if not stronger, quicker and faster. Those days were hell for me, I felt feeble; I never worked that vigorously in my life. I was doused in so much sweat that I could fill a swimming pool. I set a goal to start on junior varsity and suit up for varsity games. That offseason I gave a back-breaking effort to improve myself, that disappointment of not making junior varsity my freshman year fueled me to want to excel. I went to offseason conditioning almost every day, nothing would stop to conquer this endeavor. My hard work didn’t go unnoticed. The coaches noticed it too. The summer going into my sophomore year I was ready I was faster, stronger and better than before. I had muscles on top of muscles. My body was operating at speeds it was not use to. I received an invitation to practice with the varsity team I was elated. Finally, my efforts have paid off, from that day on I only practiced with the varsity squad and play about one game on junior varsity then I got moved up to varsity completely. I exceed my expectations. From that day on I realized later on in life that the power of the mind can lead towards perfection. If you believe you will achieve, all you have to do is persevere though any obstacle and have patience. Also have a positive attitude helps. Just know If you want something bad enough you will get it within due
