I cannot tell you exactly why I have such intense drive to innovate, but I can tell you about formative situations and feelings I’ve faced since arriving in the United States. It was September 2000, a year before the terror attacks on 9/11, when my Iraqi family of 5 immigrated to Phoenix, Arizona.
