Personal Narrative: My Educational Goals After College

My educational goals after highschool include, attending Owens Community college for two years to complete my prerequisite classes, and then transferring to The University of Toledo. The ultimate goal after college is to obtain a degree in physical therapy. Education has always been the most important part in my life. Ever since being diagnosed with ADHD, I have always had to make extra effort to make it on honor roll, and achieve other academic goals I set for myself. Having the opportunity to attend a technical school has come with many benefits. Learning material that I plan to study in college has helped me tremendously to be the most prepared I can be. These decisions I have made to challenge myself have only showed positive outcomes as I continue through my education. By attending penta Career Center for the last two years of high school, I have recently acquired a Nursing Assistant certificate. Additionally, I have become a well rounded person, due to all of the knowledge I have learned over the few years relating to the medical field. This is because instead of only learning basic core classes and elective classes that most high schools offer, attending a technical school offers more. By choosing to switch to a technical school, I have not only had the opportunity to obtain college credit, but I have also been able to learn a large amount about the medical field.
