It was a cloudy day. I decided to go to Cameron library to do my math worksheet and my Economics 101 homework. A few hours ago, my interviewee sent a message to ask me where I was, so I told him that I was on the second floor at the Cameron library. After twenty five minutes, I saw him walking towards me. He was wearing a grey hoodie and jeans and held a blueberry muffin and a cup of coffee. He looked very tired and busy. I stood up and stretched out my hand with a big smile, my interviewee replied very politely and said “long time no see.” Also I almost finished my worksheet and I let him have a break for a few minutes. He started eating his food, he said he didn't have time to eat until now because he has to take five courses on Monday, Wednesday, …show more content…

“Not anymore.” He was kind of proud to say that. He told me that when he came to Canada, he found that the rule of writing an essay was totally different between China and Canada. In Canada, people must focus on citation, if people do not quote someone else’s words in the paper, it is called plagiarism. The consequence was serious. Also use academic words in professional writings. Avoid using “I, we, and me.” Try to be objective. In addition, my interviewee was always nervous when professor let them to write. What’s more, my interviewee always feels his ideas were empty. He cannot think of many ideas to use. Therefore, it was a really hard time for my interviewee, but my interviewee looks very peaceful. He told me it was past things, like his life experience, he cannot avoid the things that he was afraid of writing. He must to face it, challenge the things that he afraid of. That’s the main reason he was kind of interested in writing. Since he was not afraid of writing anymore, I was curious about how he overcomes writing. At that moment, it was a quiet silence during I asked this question, he pondered for a while and replied me, the main reason is my father let me insist to write dairy, my father was my sponsor of writing, and when I was in that hard time, he insisted to write the dairy to help me. In addition, I always trust my father and accept his opinion, I started to write dairy every day, wrote

I'm doing the interview because, as you know, I am the internal evaluator for the project and beginning of September, late September, I said to the group "I thought it might be good for me to do a round of interviews to check in with people to get feedback from everyone who is connected to the project, and some are more connected than others, to hear what people had to say about what's gone well, what concerns they have, are there any issues that the staff need to be thinking about." For me I felt taken back by this because growing up this was something I never had to worry about. Another way to see the socioeconomic difference was when it came to certain children having toys or clothing other kids didn’t have. Some of these children would make comments about how they couldn’t afford to have a phone or even a video game like the other kids at the club. Growing up I never felt this way, I always had everything I could have asked for and was constantly being spoiled by my family. The area where I volunteer had groups ranging from third to fifth grade and there were much more boys than girls.…
