I think there is some duplication in the recording because I am not completely recording regularly, so it may be possible to delete some of them afterwards, but still I want to continue recording today because this is the best time I ever have so far. So, coming to the recording business I have to really download this into the computer and see how good it is coming along. I come from a “legacy” of excellent ball players from softball to basketball. Everyone expected my cousins and I to carry on the talent. I had some talent and was decent at basketball, but fell short to my cousins.…

Though I’m still developing my legacy, I like to think that most people who know me, regardless of how well, consider me a person that can put a smile on nearly any face. From my time in high school as photo studio assistant getting babies to giggle on camera to my work as a personal trainer cracking jokes to help clients through the worst parts of their workouts; I learned that a little laughter can improve any situation. While this is a fairly simple impact to have on people, I do believe that it’s a powerful one. My own experiences with bereavement, chronic ill health and periods of poor mental health have shown me the value of a person that puts in the effort and time to get a smile out of someone. Though happiness is a pretty fleeting…

What Was I Doing I woke up at eight o’clock in the morning like any other day. I got out of the bed and pulled open the curtains to see what a beautiful day it was outside. The sky was crystal blue; the sun was shining, with a slight breeze. I could not have asked for a more perfect day. I went to the kitchen poured a glass of orange juice; and made some bacon, eggs, and toast for breakfast.…

Same View; Different Perspective Through this life, I have only ever seen one side of the story. everyday My eyes piece together a picture from first person experiences based on class, gender, and race. Therefore, I have the sole ability to pick and choose the setting, the characters, and also the plot. Yet, I cannot control the lives of those around me or see the story from their eyes. I am continuously missing perspectives that make the story feel fragmentary, but to me it is whole.…

2014 and 2015 were my fleeting lifespan's worst years. No major, life-or-death events happened. I just have felt so very alone even amongst friends and family. I can't bring myself to talk to anyone about what I'm feeling, this whole bundle of negative emotions constantly accumulating inside me. Talking to people about what I feel just makes me feel selfish, knowing how others are suffering more so.…

The feeling you get when you have helped someone is one that cannot be matched. It makes you feel as though you were placed here for a reason. I have luckily felt like this a number of times, each one just as important as the next. Growing up with elderly grandparents forced me to act as a caregiver for them around the age of fifteen. I had to sort through medications, prepare meals, change bandages for wounds, and keep an eye on them when I was around.…

My whole life I’ve been a little different. From the clothes I wear and the way I present myself, to the way I look at the world, I’ve always been somewhat peculiar. If I could get one “do-over” in life, it would probably be my sophomore and junior years of high school. I made plenty of mistakes during these years, but I would most likely redo them for the chance to improve my grades and tell myself to stop slacking when it came to school work. I wasn’t highly motivated to do anything with myself or my life during these two years, and I now regret that deeply. If I had focused more on my school work, it’s likely that I wouldn’t be nearly so stressed about scholarships and getting into the colleges and universities that would help greatly to improve my chances at life. A do-over would allow me to show my true potential through my grades, and not just the minimum of what I made myself do.…
