A hero is commonly know as someone with superpowers but the actual definition of hero is someone who is admired or idealized for courage, outstanding achievements, or noble qualities. I am a hero because in my 6th grade year I worked very hard and won a few awards because of it. It all took place in the 5-6 community room. Elementary school is pretty easy compared to high school but I managed to get straight A’s.
My homeroom teacher was Miss.Texter. I didn't Know her very well at the beginning of the school year but as the year went on I got to know her pretty well. Levi and I would always do chores for Miss.Texter like decorating and constructing things. I excelled in her class because i worked hard and I studied a lot. Miss.Texter

I can remember Miss.Texter saying,”This has to be perfect or you are going to look like a bunch of goons.” We practiced a lot, I can’t even remember how many times we walked up and down the aisle. It was graduation day and I was kind of nervous but then I realized that school was almost out.
Right before it was about to begin Miss.Texter said,”During the duration of this graduation you will see some behind the scene footage of your child, you will also see some fun activities we did and much more.” She said,We will begin by introducing to you the class of 2021. That was our cue to start walking onto the stage.
First Mr.Etzel said,” Everyone who participated in band or choir please stand up.”
Then he said,” Everyone who participated in the Veterans Day program please stand up” so I did because I read poetry to them.
Now it was time to hand out the academic awards. The first one was the presidential academic excellence award.
So Miss.Texter started reading off the names and said,”Eli

People define heroism in many ways, but to me a hero is anyone who is willing to risk their life for someone or something. A person could be heroic in action, taking a stand or helping someone in need. A hero is not someone who is in the right place at the right time or shows up to just save the day. A hero is the military men and women fighting for our freedom, Jesus dying on the cross for our sins, and a counselor helping someone get their life back together. Being heroic in action is the men and women in battle with Iran fighting every day for our freedom, or the police officers taking down the bad guys.…

To be a hero doesn't mean someone needs to save your life or stop something bad from happening; they just have to be someone you can look up to. When I was told I needed to write about a Michigan hero, I was so stumped. A family member, a friend, a teacher? Then my teacher finally said something: a coach. The dictionary definition of coach is ¨An athletic instructor or trainer.¨ To me, my coach is more than that.…

My Heroes When people think of heroes they think of some one with chiseled muscles and super powers that can make them fly or give them the strength of a hundred men, or they can run at the speed of light. Especially when people think of their favorite super hero duo their superpowers compliment each others and then they can help anyone with any situation, the last part is true for my favorite hero duo, my parents. Parents are every kids first hero; most kids don’t realize that until they are older. When kids think of heroes they think of superman or batman saving a city from a bad guy, not their parents. Parents unconditionally love their kids and I am lucky to have that with my parents.…
