Personal Narrative: My Dad

I could hear the birds singing and felt the wind blowing against my tinted red cheeks in Vineland, New Jersey. We had just moved into a house on Trenton E Chestnut Ave. The house was about 50 years old, it was freshly painted with a platinum color and a brand new roof.

I lived with My Mom, and my big sister Myah that just turned 16 last month. We didn't have a dad because he left us when I was just about 3 months old. And I'm Savage I am 14 years old and I go to Bwaxican High, and right now I am waiting for my mom to pick me up at school with my sister in black sweatpants and an emoji t-shirt with black croc's on my feet.

It had taken us nearly 4 hours to get to the park. Once we arrived, you can hear the Owls hooting and the woodpeckers pecking at the tree stumps. It didn't feel safe to dig up the treasure. But when we dug it up it wasn't a chest or anything, it was a box just a plain wooden box. When we got home we still hadn't opened the box.

Because Myah and I were so exhausted we went to bed and waited the next day. When I woke up and rolled over I saw someone and screamed. But it was only Myah, I guess she had been waiting for me to get up so we can see what was in that box.

When we opened the box it had a record in it, and then I found out it wasn't a box it was a record player. I pressed play one the recorded player. The recorded started playing and we heard some guys or maybe it was just one guys talking about cancer. But then he said something about curing it. Myah and I looked at each other, we had found the cure for cancer. But we couldn't figure out why anyone would bury it. Why didn't the guys not want people to see the cure. It didn't was a name but I know that me and Myah had to find out what was behind all of this.
