Personal Narrative: My Cultural Identity

If someone came up to me and asked me about my Cultural Identity, my mind would probably just goes blank. I would think “Well, who the heck knows?” There are different kinds of people in this world when it comes to being asked this question. There are kids who don’t know, they are somewhat completely clueless, there are kids who know it right off the bat after giving a minute of thinking about it. And then there are the kids who don’t even know what they were asked because they didn’t listen. I’m the person who is clueless at first. Basically, I lean more on my dad’s side of the family. My dad’s side of the family is Christian. A lot of them are Christian, we all prefer that we’re Christian. We go to church and we love to celebrate Christmas because it was the day on which Jesus was born. We also like to celebrate Easter because it was the day Jesus was resurrected. During those holidays, we usually think of more because we’re religious. On Easter, we go to church, of course. My mom’s side is Catholic, her mom was catholic and her father is or was catholic. And my Mom was catholic but decided to be a Christian. When you look at my dad’s side, when someone is not a huge Christian, they usually get frowned upon but we keep quiet about …show more content…
My first time going to a Hockey game was when I was just a month or two old. I didn’t cry once. But, the one sport mostly the girls in my family play is Basketball. It can be hard because on my dad’s side, we all have scoliosis, and one leg that is longer than the other, and it causes more problems with our body. But, we love the sport. Even though we have a lot of pain problems, we still push ourselves to do something fun. It’s worth it. When it comes to instruments, we play the clarinet.
