When the Teacher gave the test back she noticed the classmate next to me had the same grade. Without asking or comparing our test papers for similarities, she placed me at a desk in front of the class by myself, because she thought I cheated off his paper. When I started college for the first time, my confidence was not 100 percent. However when I got in motion my confident started to build after one of my professor commented that he saw great potential in me to succeed in my chosen profession. My experiences over the last six years living in NYC have shaped me into the approachable and compassionate person I am today. I have been immersed in a melting pot with many different culturally and economically diverse populations. These unique experiences have broadened my horizons and allowed me to gain valuable communication skills and the ability to connect with people from all walks of life. I searched out opportunities to give back and help the people in my community both in volunteering in hospitals, educating high school students, and interning in private practices. I even traveled with the organization Medlife, setting up a medical clinic to provide basic medical care and education to people in the poor and underserved communities surrounding Lima, Peru.…

This strength plays a role as a community builder, allowing me to bring the community together and having the ability to make an effort to include others. This strength as well works with, group facilitator, I am capable of looking over a group and having the talent to “show awareness of those who feel left out”. My personal worldview has shifted a multitude of times over the course of my life, but the largest, most drastic alterations have taken place over the past nine years, from the moment I started to believe in God. One could say that part of my worldview is a belief that a worldview continues to shift as we move through our lives, learning, growing, exploring and asking the deep questions of ourselves and of others. As I reach deeper levels of maturity, authority and capacity in my relationship with Christ, I will also reach deeper levels of understanding about the universe, the world, and its’ occupants. I believe there is one true God who is the creator of all things, including the universe. I am unable to comprehend beyond this, meaning,…
