In this convergence poster there are several things that make up who I am, On the poster there is a picture of me and four rainbow trout that I caught when I was seventh grade. Me and my grandpa went down to roaring river along the Missouri and Arkansas border. It was a weekend early October and we decided it would be nice to get out of town and go do what we love to do, we mostly fish for crappie and sunfish, but we thought it would be interesting to try and fish for trout and with roaring river just a five hour drive away and restocks trout daily we jumped in the idea. My grandpa and I got up at six A.M. the next morning to fish because the alarm goes off at seven, we fished for six hours and I was so mad because the water was crystal clear and you could see the fish just looking at your lure, my grandpa told me to just keep trying and around eight a’clock that evening they started feeding and I caught over ten pounds of trout that day. I learned patience and persistence will and can prevail, Also learned that I love fishing and I now Fish three days out of the week all year round. …show more content…
I got Sadie two years ago from a lady in Odessa who said she wouldn’t stop running off. I went and payed twenty five dollars and took her home not having the intention that she would be my dog. I originally bought her because my mother was going through a heard time when her great mastiff pup died so I bought her another dog to help with the sadness. Sadie loves everyone, but I am her “boy” as my mom says, she follows me around everywhere I go. It’s not all fun having a dog that cares about me that much and has a dependency, I can’t be away from home for more than two days otherwise she gets sick. Sadie is my favorite dog out of the two others my family and I

When asked to define myself in one paper, I find it hard to show the details that I want to in the right light. When asked about my future after high school, I also have a hard time describing everything I want to get done because there are far too many things to name. The quote “ _____” (i want to be everyone and do everything and there isn’t enough life to do it all in) describes me to a tee, and I believe this college is the place I could do this in. Being a shy person for most of my life, many things were difficult for me. Specifically, last summer I had the opportunity for a summer job.…

There are a couple of obstacles that have played a major role in me becoming who I am today. I've had naysayers trying to negatively influence my thoughts, and crush my dreams by saying that said I will never amount to anything, or that I should give up on my dreams and get realistic with my goals. A couple years ago I was a completely different person. I was out of shape physically, my academic performance was very poor, and I had a terrible attitude. I improved greatly in athletics and my academic career.…

At a younger age, I would say I believed that I can only trust myself and my mother, this is because as a little kid my mom would always tell me that there are bad people in the world and that giving them any information about anything can be very harmful. But as I grew up and realized what was actually happening in my country I knew there were millions of others that were suffering against the “bad people” and we could only do something about it if the whole community came together to help. It was at that time when I was about 25, when I started to put some effort into trying to establish more just conditions within my country especially after the implication of extremely high food prices. This is when I started my first strike involving my…
