Firstly, I continuously (starting at the age of 12) came to the JRCC kindergarten and volunteered to feed toddlers, ensure kids’ safety, entertain them and organize activities. I worked with kids aged 1 till 6, while a special few have become closely attached to my hip.
Secondly, the Jewish Community Centre needed paid counsellors for their upcoming camp. I decided to volunteer because I wanted to give back. Going to this camp as a child, I was driven by the knowledge of everything the organization had done personally to help my family.

Queen’s university is consistently praised for its strong reputation, and united community. Being at Queen’s means I am being given something I need and want, an enlightened education. Whether it is through the Summer Student Recruitment, United Way, or simply helping fellow students and professors, is it my responsibility to assist others.
