I worked hard to get my grade up in Calculus. I remember checking schoology non-stop after every assignment, studying for hours on end, and working on homework until I couldn’t keep my eyes open any longer. I pushed myself because I believed that I could get my grade up to an A if I just worked a little harder. After a couple tests I checked my grade and it was an 87 and I knew I had enough time to get it up to an A. It’s like a marathon, you work hard all the way through and even when you feel burnt out you still push yourself and just keep thinking about the finish line. Once the finish line is visible you still find enough energy to kick it in for the ending and then the results blow you away, and you think to yourself, “I just did that. I really just did that.” That’s where I am right now. If someone needed advice about Calculus, it would be to not wait to study, try hard on the first test, and just work hard and put all of your effort into it because I promise you, it will pay off in the …show more content…
It was difficult to find time to interview my subject, which was my mother. My family is always busy and my mom and I are constantly running everywhere. I had soccer practice everyday for high school and when I got home she would have to take my brothers to practice. The only time that we would both be home around the same time were the weekends, but even then, it wasn’t that long. I had to squeeze it in right before bed one night. Luckily, I got the information I needed in order to write the paper and get a decent grade. The project was very long and it took a lot of time and hard work in order to get it just right. Some nights I wanted to just give up, but I can never settle for a low grade, I had to get an A. The recording was the hardest part, I probably recorded the same reading like eight times, it was horrible. I could still probably quote my paper. I would recommend everyone to get a head start so you don’t have to try to cram an interview in at the last second. I would also interview your subject as soon as possible because it gives you more time to work on the actual paper. It may be difficult at the moment, but it will pay
