When I first made my college decision, I applied to many different types of schools. I had been at the same small middle/high school for six years and was not sure what I wanted in a school. At first, I wanted a big, diverse school where I could become involved in clubs while I advanced further in my academic career.
I ended up deciding on a small college named Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences because I was nervous about knowing classmates and making friends in a big school since I had been in a small school for so long. I decided to pursue an advanced Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD.) degree because I had always enjoyed the sciences and thought it would be a good major since I could help people while using science.
