As talked about in the text, nursing students can experience significant anxiety, uncertainty, and feelings of abandonment when we first encounter a complex health care environment. (Christiansen and Bell, p. 804) Clinical experience is a great learning tool, but as you talked about in your post it can be very overwhelming to nursing students. I know personally that I am very nervous to start taking care of my own patient next week at my clinical site at KU Rehabilitation Center. Knowing that I have my peers with me and that we can help each other along the way is something that I am very thankful for. Clinical experience will help me grow as a nursing student and I am sure that with the help of my peers and instructor I will be able to develop
