This was my first live concert that I’ve ever attended so is was my first time hearing a violin and a cello live. The way I would describe the way a violin sounds, is that it was very soothing to me it had a bright and mellow sound to it. On the other hand the cello sounded very powerful although it was powerful I felt that the sound of the cello was darker just because the pitch was lower, but hear the two together was a good mixed.
My favorite piece from the whole concert would have to be the last piece the Quartet op. 35, this was my favorite piece because you get to hear all the instrument together. Overall I thought the music itself was more interesting compared to the rest. It sounded more classical and it had a jazzy tone to the music. Sometimes the pitch would be high and sometime it would be low. And it would change between the two, this gave more feeling to the music making the music more gloomy or happy. The dynamic of this changed between fortissimo and pianissimo the louder it got the more intense the music felt and the softer it got the more soothing the piece of music was. I felt that the tone of the music was very exciting and very strong it kept me at my toe. The duration was long enough to keep you paying attention to the music and not make you bored of it I would say that this last piece lasted for fifth teen to twenty five
