Personally I don't work on the road. I do know several RVers that do work at Wal-Marts as they travel. You probably have this one on your list or have seen and/or heard of it - filling different shapes of bottles with different colors of sand. Core values are the things that inspire us, what we believe is important, and which is significance to us in life. My core values are commitment, fairness and respect for others, and to have trust and love for one another. My most important core value is to have honesty and love. I was only 14 when I went on my mission trip, but experiencing that such a young age has shaped me for who I am. I was involved in three mission trips, which all occurred in the States, but in all three-mission trips I helped people who I believe needed it most. I was proud of what I did and I think it was something that not a lot of people did at my age. One of my biggest motivators were the people I was helping. After going on my first trip, I had bonded with others and had made me realize what the real world is like outside a small town in Iowa.…

The idea of being told that I had to work for the first time made me want to eat glass; but could it possibly have turned out for the better? In England, when you reach 10th grade you participate in a nationally accepted program called 'Work Experience'. ' Work Experience' is when you work just like you would if you were legally an adult except with this program it only lasts a week. After 2 weeks of tireless searching I landed a job at Ariya Capital; an experienced developer and investor in clean energy and infrastructure projects throughout sub-Saharan Africa. When I think about the boy who I was growing up, the young adult I am today, and the man I plan to be in the forthcoming years, one aspect of my life stands out to me far more radiantly than anything else: my culture, my skin, my identity as a Bangladeshi-American. Make no mistake, there are certainly events for Bangladeshis living in the United states, many that I have attended due to various entreaties from my parents. These are event where the only language spoken is one that I barely speak (Bengali), the only music conversed about is that which I don't listen to or understand, and the only events discussed happen in another country that I have spent only a…

When it was announced on the first day of Blue Lake International, a four-week music camp, that I had gotten the position of first flute, my heart swelled with pride. However, the position was soon taken by a counselor, Tracey whom I thought would merely assist with rehearsals. Furthermore, Tracey began taking major flute solos from the students because she believed they lacked the skill to perform them. Her method of teaching mainly employed grabbing instruments, shouting, and glaring. Afraid that she would ruin my experience, I quickly picked up on what she disliked and started acting much friendlier.…
