Personal Narrative: My Best Lunch At Le Grill

Improved Essays
The best lunch I ever had was at Le’Grill with some of my closest friends. We got to go off on our own and have lunch wherever we wanted for one hour, Renbrook gave us more freedom than they ever had before. We chose to go here because it was in a beautiful part of the city. Old Quebec City amazing architecture, the buildings made you feel like you were somewhere special. The streets were mainly stone like Venice Italy. The music being played by local street performers tied the whole experience up because it made me feel for a moment like I was actually in France.
We all tried to use French as much as we could, I said please and thank you in french to the waiters to which they were thoroughly impressed. They noticed how I took the effort to

My journey at Chick-fil-A began the of fall of last year, soon after I turned sixteen. I wanted to work at Fairfield Coffee as a barista, but due to my age, I could not even receive an application. Throughout my life, my friends and family call me “Chef Steve”. They call me this because I always end up cooking and revising my mom’s food. In my strong opinion, I know the extra ingredients to make the food taste more appetizing. With the right seasoning and amount that I put in the crawfish is as easy as learning how to breathe. My most wished for food of all time is garlic crawfish, not only because of the taste, but for the process of how its made.…

I would visit Applebee’s again for several reasons; it is affordable, causal, and the food is really good. As a college student, the first thing that I consider before eating out is how affordable the place is. Compared to Olive Garden, I would say that this restaurant is a lot less formal, less costly, and a lower food quality. Overall, my experience was fun and enjoying because I felt relaxed sitting, laughing, and eating with my friends. When come back next time, I may try a dessert.…

It was May 20th, 2015, a warm and extremely beautiful spring day, when a memory that could last a lifetime was created. I had the day all planned out and was ready for all of the adventures that would be remembered for years to come. With this being his first birthday since we began dating, I made sure to plan an exciting day that would be followed by revealing my big news that I had in store. He pulled up to my house early in the morning, in his little grey Civic, and our day of creating memories had officially commenced. Our first of many stops lead us to the movie theater to watch a movie that he had been dying to see at the time.…

After grabbing a couple of greasy burgers from one of the food stands, eating half their body weight in cotton candy, and then going on the super fast roller coaster, which made them puke up everything they'd just digested, Rick and Stan decided that it was about time to head home and overpower the taste of vomit with the sweet taste of rumchata and pass out on the kitchen floor. But before they could leave, Stan had asked (demanded) they go on one last…

When I was in high school I got my first car and every morning before I would leave for school, my mom would always tell me to “drive safe and go straight to school, no stops!” and I would do just that. Unlike any other morning after arriving to school, I decided to find my two friends and leave to go to Chick-fil-a. We had fifteen minutes to get there and back without being late for school. While trying to cross a 4-lane road, I was t-boned by an older lady who was texting while driving. I didn’t see her…

The food log I recorded on the first day was typical except for the fact that I had a muffin top and a chocolate, I don't usually have a muffin top for breakfast nor do I usually have a chocolate. On the second day my lunch was not typical because I went out with my friend, but other than lunch, my breakfast, dinner and snacks were typical. On the first day I went over my recommended calorie consumption by 371 calories but for having 2.5 hours of rowing that day I think that I didn’t eat to many calories compared to all of the calories I burned.
