My earliest memory of writing is of when I started to learn the alphabet in Kindergarten. My first teacher was Mrs. Crowley, I remember writing all of the letters, singing the alphabet and nursery rhymes, and learning to spell my name. I enjoyed the process of learning and finding out new fun facts. I didn’t know it then but learning how to read and write began the foundation of who I am today. I love to read and I wouldn’t be able too if it weren’t for learning the basics of writing.
I remember the first time I walked into the school library at South Forrest Attendance Center. It was very quiet so quiet that you could hear a pinsel drop in the hallway, which reminded me of church like the library was a sacred place you had to respect. The librarian's name was Mrs.Smith, she seemed nice but I knew if I ever lost a book I would be in deep trouble. I loved the smell of old books. The process of picking out a book was fun and the first book I picked out was Juddy B. Jones,however I didn’t really find it that interesting but I still loved the library.

Homework almost every night, reading Night by Elie Wiesel in class and giving a proper analysis of the book and even watching videos to analysis those as well. My teacher pushed us but she made the class work fun with things like making board games and painting ceiling tiles. It was the best and worst class of the day. One of my other challenging experiences was the process of creating a seven page research paper and it was extremely long and drawn out. Creating the thesis and the introduction was the most difficult part of the essay for me. She taught us true life skills.
