This night was to be unusual, for as I fell asleep I found myself in a nightmare, but not an ordinary one; not one that people fear because of an imminent demise, but instead fear of reflection. I lie my head against my pillow that night with no idea what was to happen, but the dream coming would change my perspective… permanently.

I found as I awoke in a new reality, I was heading to an unknown destination on a airplane. Looking out the window, the skies shined with pure sunlight, and that sunlight bouncing off the misty clouds that ran on the horizon like the hills. Upon finished descent of the plane, I exited to find myself in an unfamiliar place, and in the middle of my confusion, a phone call came in. Staring at the phone I contemplated

Looking out my high window, I saw a city, and beyond that, a beach. The skies were clear and the water was a cyan blue. Conditions seemed perfect for a day to relax at the beach, and my fears of an underwater state faded. To my unresisted temptation, I decided to go head to the one place I was told to avoid: the water. Upon arrival I found the sun quickly descending to the water. It was at this second I realized I was far from home. The sun descending on the water meant I was on the west coast instead of the east. I made the decision to join those clinging to safety. As I journeyed to a high enough level on the tower where I could be untouched by the water, I saw children curled up in a ball as if to let their minds leave this nightmare. The higher I climbed, the more I saw sitting in a more relaxed manner. Some spoke casually, as if this wasn't an unusual situation, some spoke in fear; panicking, and then there were those who just sat silently, but it was apparent that every single one of their faces read one word: agony. Upon reaching about halfway up the structure, the water grew large enough to reach the unstable tower at a constant. It began to wobble and shake more and more violently as each gust of wind clashed against the impending doom, but I wanted answers, so I continued to try to find out what these kids were

In a dark forest, where trees lay waste and the land was ridden with darkness, there lies a castle with shattered windows and a dreary look. Black streaks ran down its bricks giving it a desolate look and ridden with a sense of malevolence. The castle rests on the precipice of a cliffside.
