If a story is in you, it has to come out

When I was in first grade iI had a teacher named Mrs.Neff, she was a very nice teacher and I passed 1st grade so easily. My mother got a letter in the mail asking if we would like to loop with Mrs.neff and be with her again for second grade. My mother agreed to let me loop with her. I remember second grade like it was no tomorrow., everything was S bit odd. Every time we would go into the classroom , we were told to put up our things and sit on the carpet. Everyday she would read to us. It wasn't your average 2nd grade book either. It was always sad books, and she would tell us not to let people hurt us. She would draw hearts on the board. Give us a bag of chips. We never really did much of at all.

Our teacher Mrs Boreman came walking in and said-“Good morning class, . I hope you had a good first day yesterday.i know it's your second day of 8th grade, and Today is a beautiful day, but lets jump write on into the bit of the dark side. Maybe you will even get the chills of a past memory? I have a writing assignment for you today , I know you are all nervous because it's only the second day, but I want you tell me a story about something scary that happened in your life.”. My first thought that popped up in my head was 'oh god here we go with the writing assignments. How will I survive a dreaded writing assignment again? I know I can write a book in my head, I hope I can write this assignment all out on paper? My teacher, Mrs Borman passed out our note pads and pencils she told us to brainstorm first of a scary moment that happened in our life and write a rough draft and then bring it up for approval and then write our final draft. I sat at my desk thinking of all the scariest moments I had so far in my life. My mind was just spinning through so many different memories. Then a light bulb went off. How about I write about the time when I went over to my uncle's cliff house to visit, and seen two giant pythons in the basement and almost got …show more content…
As I walked down the basement steps, I smelled this horrific awful smell. words can't even explain the smell. As I reached the bottom of the steps, My uncle had two python snakes on his basement floor. He has a brown one and a yellow one. Their tanks were in the middle of the basement floor. My uncle said be careful where you step, and you may pet the snakes. So I first went up to yellow snake and petted the snake and it was friendly! When I went to pet the brown snake, he tensed up and almost went to bite me! I screamed! My uncle ended putting the brown snake back in its tank. My mother came flying down the basement steps and my mother screamed and freaked out. My mother didn’t want me in the basement with those snakes, and she didn’t understand why my uncle let them roam free down in the basement, but it was his

"Success is the result of perfection, hard work, learning from failure, loyalty and persistence" I have had many ups and downs over the course of my life thus far. One specific example of this took place during my freshman year of high school. When I started high school it was very challenging for me, partially due to the fact that; during this time, I was lazy, unmotivated and did not really take school seriously. This by far is one of my biggest regrets to this day. Who would ever think that not trying during my freshman year would continue to follow me throughout the course of my academic career.…

A wise Oliver Wendell Holmes said, “Man’s mind stretched to a new idea never goes back to its original dimensions.” This quote is an excellent way to describe my experience in high school.…

The end of the day comes whether you have gotten up to do something productive or if you have simply remained inanimate while time moves around you. I have found that the present slips away while you are worrying about the future. We are constantly telling ourselves that if we just get through this, then everything after will be better. We forget to appreciate the moment while constantly reaching for a hypothetically more fulfilling life. Once we graduate high school, or get through a challenging class, or finish a workout, everything after will get easier.…
