Personal Narrative: Mrs. Rado

Driving through the heavily guarded gates, the guards had a stony look on their face as they took me to a visiting room. This horrendous smell overwhelmed my senses was I was buzzed in the room. As I was trying to keep an open mind, but I couldn’t help to wonder why Mrs. Rado would ever send me to jail to visit someone who was supposed to be my mentor. Since Elizabeth couldn’t make it to our meeting I didn’t know what to expect. This quiet, thin framed woman called out to me. Her hair was this sweet caramel color worn in a tightly made bun. She was dressed in highlighter orange and we sat at cafeteria style tables. She told me why she is on death row.
