There was an open house for the school, but I did not want to go to see the school, I got angry because I did not want to see the school or meet anyone there. When we walked into the school I saw that it was much smaller than I had expected it would be. So when we got there we had a teacher come and show us around the school. And ask us if we needed any other help with anything.
When the teacher came to show us the school we went into Mr. Faust’s room and that is where I met Hunter and a few other girls. Then Mr. Faust told Hunter to help me get through the school year. And that she should make sure no one tries to be rude to me.Then I went to my locker to try to open it up, but I did not know how it opened up.
So Hunter came and asked, “Do you need help.”

But after a while of spending time with Hunter I kind of started to trust her. Then after a few weeks we started to become friends, then I finally trusted her more. She and other people became my friends, but if I did not talk to hunter I probably would not meet anyone. Hunter has been very helpful towards me for the past

Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, “The Danger of One Story,” inspired me to write an essay on how I had only “One story” about my home country, Palestine.
