Personal Narrative: Moving To The United States

Until I moved to the United States in 2011, I had spent my entire life in my home country. Due to this transition, I felt an immense amount of pressure since It was hard for me to immerse in a new culture, speak a new language, and build new friendships. But through these challenges, I constantly reminded myself of the reason I moved here and that is to attain an education and pave my way to success. So, I started looking for extracurricular activities that increased my chance of helping others, adapting to the new lifestyle, and developing new friendships that exposed me to many traditions and cultures I had been unaware of. Such opportunities have made me an open-minded person that helped me understand different perspectives that people have
