Fifth Grade
I had just had moved to Idaho at the beginning of this schools year so I didn't have any friends or know anyone. When I would talk people would look at me funny because I had a thick southern accent. I made a lot of friends just because we only had one class the entire day so it was easy. Most of my friends were in the grade above me because I was in the sixth grade orchestra and I was in a fifth/sixth grade combo class. Because I was in the sixth grade orchestra class I would have lunch with the sixth graders instead of the fifth graders. My first year here in Idaho was good because school was good and so far people were nice.
Sixth Grade All my friends had left and went onto Jr. High, but I did have friends in my grade we just weren't as close. Throughout the year we did become closer and I was apart of the popular crew. Everyone knew who I was and all the teachers knew me and my two best friends at the time and I was a teacher's pet, It helped that he was our teacher the year before and he was our

The hotel that we stayed at was pretty nice there were four of us girls in a room and there was a pool. Everyone in choir was at the pool so we decided to run around the hotel and take picture. While we were there we went to the zoo then Lagoon. The zoo was pretty cool we got to split up and do our own thing so it was nice it was small but cool. A lot of people got done with touring the zoo before our teacher so we all sat in a circle and started singing. When we went to lagoon it started raining so a lot of the rides were closed but some were still open and like the zoo we got to split up into little groups of our choice and roam around. We were going on all the rides that were open and mind you it's pouring rain outside, but we couldn't leave because it's where the award ceremony was

As the first week of school passed I quickly found out who you do not want to be friends with unless you wanted to get in trouble. A few weeks into the first nine weeks of school, there was a girl ( who happens to be my best friend now) and she was reading Harry Potter which I happened to be reading as well. We soon became friends, then best friends because we have so much in common. August and Jack along with Summer are like my best friend and I.…

When I was 16 I moved to from California to Texas. During this time, I assume everyone in Texas wears a cowboy hat, boots, talks in a southern accent such as saying y’all and other such stereotypes. I assume the general understanding of Texas from what I was taught as a kid in movies, music, and shows. Once I moved to Texas that that type of thought was used against me, my classmates assume I probably l go to the beach and surf and have met plenty of celebrities when I lived in California. This is an example of REPRESENTATIVENESS HEURISTIC to judge or presume a someone or something relying on past experiences and mental representations to a new situation creating a particular group.…

The worst part was I didn't even know one person, I was the “new kid”. I ended up going to a school called Liberty Elementary School, it was a new school that was being built in the area. Many people from the other schools went there, including me. Some people had best friends who moved with them so they weren't alone, but I was. At lunch, I was silent, no words, just sat there staring off in the distance.…

I was just a quiet freshman in high school. My father sat down with my family and told us that we were about to move to Texas. I was both shocked and a little excited to move because I’ve always wanted to go south.…

A lot of work goes into putting together a marching band show. The band has to learn and memorize all of the music while paying attention to dynamics, time signatures, and tempos. On top of all of this music, a band has to learn over forty different formations to march to on the field. Before any of this can happen there must be practice. We learn how to march at the beginning and we learn how to play our instruments early on.…
