I started receiving offers for work out in Colorado. All of my job hunting had been based in Virginia where we were currently living. However something tugged on my spirit to pursue Colorado. I talked with my wife and we both decided that a faith move to Colorado was the best solution. Two weeks after arriving in Colorado I received an email with an offer to Denver Health Hospital. The pay, job description, location, and work hours were exactly what I was looking for. My wife followed me out Colorado about a month later and after a week in Colorado she had a full-time job as well. The very next week we found a church and are plugged into the Youth ministry and have been absolutely amazed at the perfect detail and alignment God has shown in our lives by orchestrating our move to Colorado. Since being plugged into the Youth Ministry and having the job I am currently working in, my education is now at the forefront. I tried for several years to go to school while in the military but the schedule just did not work and I was forced to stop my studies several times due to military obligations. Now that I am successfully out of the military I really want to use this time to plug back into school. I realize that I can get an education

I moved from from Texas to Arizona last year. It was a really difficult move. I lived there my whole life, so I had to leave everyone and everything I loved. It all started when my dad told the family that he had been let go from his job at the Big Lake school district as a technician because the school did not have enough money to keep all of the techs there. It was an upsetting moment for everyone, but we had to move on and find a new job. After a few weeks, we did. My dad was accepted by a job in New Hampshire, a state that was far from our wonderful Minnesota home. I was super excited about this New Hampshire Job because it was in a new unseen territory for me.…

One cold and dreary day in January, I got home from an uneventful day at school. I never would have guessed what was about to happen or thought that this would ever happen to me. I was just a quiet freshman in high school. My father sat down with my family and told us that we were about to move to Texas. I was both shocked and a little excited to move because I’ve always wanted to go south.…

Vehicles roar past me down the street and make strands of hair wrap around my face. There are so many colors that surround me in the autumn atmosphere. Pine and evergreen is the smell that enters my nose as I breath. It looks like the typical autumn season. So I’ve had multiple experiences and events that have influenced me as a person, and has even reached into my academic career. The event I would like to do into detail is one that happened almost a year and a half ago now; I was out on the streets living a life of sin, not accepting Christ not accepting authority, or anything that I couldn’t profit from. My life was spiraling out of control more quickly than I could believe it was. I was working a full time job and a part time job, I was hanging on the streets and more worried about making money any way possible than being home. Suddenly I left my part time job without letting them know or giving any consideration, even though I had worked there for almost 3 years.…
